Lorenzo’s New Identity: Building Bitcoin’s Liquidity Finance Layer

TL;DR Lorenzo Protocol has revamped all branding and launched a new website to reflect its mission to be the premier Bitcoin platform for yield-bearing token issuance, trading, and settlement.

Today, we are proud to announce Lorenzo Protocol’s new logo and branding system. Together, they represent the innovation and professionalism we aim to provide to our users and partner ecosystem.

We’re excited to deliver this update on the heels of rapid growth in our community and ecosystem as we eye the upcoming launch of our appchain testnet and TVL campaign. Since the beginning of the year, the Lorenzo community — in total, across all social platforms — has grown from ~7,000 community members to nearly ~200,000, representing a 2757% increase.

We’ve updated our branding and overhauled our website to more accurately reflect the significance of Lorenzo’s mission and the dedication of our team to providing a best-in-class experience for bitcoin stakers. In other words, we mean business.

Branding Redefined By Purpose

In 2024, Lorenzo Protocol has not only advanced in technical development but also expanded its network with industry leaders, attracted new talent, and significantly grown its community. As a result, our mission has become clearer with each iteration. We’ve focused our new branding on addressing what the industry needs and how we can help Bitcoin foster the next wave of growth.

Today, we have a fully developed purpose as an organization from which our branding can be derived: to create an efficient market in which bitcoin holders can easily find the best opportunities to invest their unused bitcoin liquidity and serve as the premiere DeFi ecosystem in which to finance bitcoin staking tokens. All these efforts culminate in making Lorenzo the leading bitcoin liquidity finance layer.

The rebranding and website update were completed in collaboration with Cleevio, a team that has worked with global brands like Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Deloitte, and Volkswagen.

As we implemented a complete redesign and structural update to our website, the primary focus was tangibly bringing our rebrand to life while improving clarity around each core element of the project and its mission.

In addition– we have added several key updates to our website including an ecosystem page to give anyone a comprehensive view of our integrations and partnerships, team page, and list of Lorenzo FAQs. The result of the above changes, along with many more implemented, is a proper headquarters for all things Lorenzo.

Looking forward

We will iterate upon this version of the site moving forward, and plan to soon fully integrate our blog into the site and launch a new Lorenzo Academy where visitors can learn everything they need to know about bitcoin liquid staking.
