Our team completed the milestone launch of our beta mainnet, bringing the Lorenzo community on-chain for the first time.

Shortly after, we launched a joint event featuring the Bitlayer Mining Gala (now concluded) and our pre-launch staking event for Babylon (active).

Branding
In Q2, we revamped all Lorenzo branding and launched a new website to reflect our mission to be the premier Bitcoin platform for yield-bearing token issuance, trading, and settlement.
Growth
Leveraging our learnings from our successful Q1 period of growth, our team doubled down on expanding the Lorenzo brand across social media platforms by leveraging community activations like the Community Contributor Program and TVL Campaign Waitlist, as well as additional Galxe campaigns and the launch of our beta mainnet.
Our efforts resulted in:
- Our X following grew from 26,000 followers to over 78,000.
- Our Discord server grew from 25,000 members to over 42,000
Moving forward, our focus will be to further build relationships with engaged community members supporting the vision of Lorenzo and continue to strengthen our community’s foundation of trust, friendship, and fun.
Events
Our team sponsored and attended Bitcoin Asia and Bitcoin DevCon in Hong Kong to kick off May.
There, we attended a multitude of side events, met with investors and other projects, and had an incredible time taking in Hong Kong as a team.

Continuing Our Push
As we begin Q3 of 2024, our team is heavily focusing its efforts on strengthening and growing the omnichain dominance of stBTC through new partnerships and integrations, more activities for our community, attending additional events like Bitcoin 2024 in Nashville, and much more.
Our internal team has continued to grow and is in incredible condition to achieve the mission of Lorenzo Protocol, and we look forward to all of the exciting moments to come in Q3!
